As Rosie the Riveter, funny and engaging Carol Cain tells the story of women workers on the home front during World War II. Dressed in the uniform of the period—overalls, work boots and a head scarf—Carol uses actual and fictional stories to celebrate women’s contributions to the war effort. Her program includes music, her vast collection of Rosie memorabilia, and stories of the veterans and Rosies she has met through her experiences. For the past 21 years Carol has performed as Rosie the Riveter at the Little White House in Warm Springs, GA and throughout the southeast.
